WHAT WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING RIGHT NOW!

4×4 Technician & Aftermarket Parts Installer

An adventure-friendly auto repair shop, a variety of interesting off-road vehicles to work on, a state-of-the-art facility, competitive pay, and an employer that appreciates your skills. We’d pinch you, but you’re not dreaming! You’re committed to your skills and craft as a technician. Outlander Motorsports is committed to providing you with livable wages and a shop where you’ll be excited to come to work every day!

What we are looking for:

  • 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with aftermarket suspension – lowering springs, coil overs to lift kits, leaf springs, etc.
  • Electrical experience – wiring custom/off-road lights or upgrading stock lighting for better illumination.
  • Familiarity with AllData, Identifix, and other diagnostic tools.
  • Familiarity with manufacturer-recommended services – Brakes (pads, rotors, drums, shoes), Steering, Suspension, Wheels/Tires (mount and balance/repair), Alignments, fluid services, water pumps, timing belts, radiators, compressors, starters, etc
  • Valid California Driver’s License
  • ASE Certification and/or technical training is a plus but not required
  • Individuals looking for long term employment

As our 4×4 Automotive Technician, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Reading manufacturer’s drawings and manuals
  • Basic computer and internet literacy
  • Operating a variety of hand, power, and shop tools
  • Keeping shop equipment operating (maintain, troubleshoot, repair, etc.)
  • Driving manual transmission vehicles
  • Using computer diagnostic equipment
  • and more!
