LIFT KIT VS. LEVELING KIT

The lift kit is the premier solution when it comes to maximizing your off-road suspension system. It is a vehicle modification that lifts the existing suspension system or the body.
The two types of lift kits are:
- Body Lift Kits
- Off-road Suspension Lift Kits
No matter the type of lift kit, the goal is the same: to provide your vehicle with increased performance, bolstered ground clearance, and an unmistakable appearance.
CUSTOM SUSPENSION LIFT KIT
A custom suspension lift kit elevates your truck or SUV’s suspension and every part. This is accomplished by upgrading the rear, front leaf springs, and shocks.
An off-road suspension system lifts increase the distance between the ground and your vehicle’s axle.
The top off-road suspension lift kits average around four to six inches. However, off-road suspension lift kits and custom suspension kits can go much higher.
LEVELING KITS
The leveling kit involves slightly raising the front of your truck or SUV. This is to ensure that it’s aligned with the rear. Most leveling kits are engineered to provide up to two inches of lift to the front.
There are two ways to go with a leveling kit. The first kit includes two spacers that go on top of the struts for a 2″ lift.
With the second kit, we use a coil or loaded strut. This will give you more of a quality ride, ready to take on whatever roads you end up on.
BODY LIFT KIT
The body lift is designed to raise only the body of your truck or SUV from the frame.
Body lift kits are most often used to elevate the vehicle’s body by one to three inches. As a result, there is no increase in the distance between the ground and your vehicle’s bottom.

A custom suspension lift kit elevates your truck or SUV’s suspension and every part. This is accomplished by upgrading the rear, front leaf springs, and shocks.
